-Lactic Acid (10%): Derived from the fermentation of sugar. lactic acid is an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) that exfoliates the skin by dissolving the bonds that hold dead cells together. Lactic acid is considered to be a milder. more hydrating AHA.
